About Centre for PHHA (Public Health in Humanitarian Assistance)
The Centre at Uppsala University aims to be an international resource, offering technical advice, research and training and a forum for information exchange, but also to contribute to the development of effective policies and practices in humanitarian assistance. In turn this will lead to the reduction of morbidity and mortality from disasters. The education is organised in favour of exchange of knowledge and experiences and the public health perspective is built into the courses.
