About VSO Jitolee
Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) is an International Federation of member organizations working in development through volunteers. VSO works with the talents, energy and commitment of volunteers who want to work for a more sustainable and equitable world. Volunteers are recruited, deployed and supported internationally to tackle poverty through development programmes around the world.
VSO Jitolee is a member of the VSO Federation based in Nairobi with an East African regional mandate to promote volunteerism and recruit professionals to serve as volunteers in VSO programmes in 40 countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Pacific. In addition, VSO Jitolee contributes to Kenya's national development through international volunteers who work with local partners across the country in the areas of HIV and AIDS, disability and secure livelihoods and participation and governance. National volunteering is integrated in all of our programme areas.
