About Sierra Leone Red Cross Society
The Sierra Leone Red Cross Society was established by an Act of Parliament in 1962.
Within the framework of its statutory responsibility, the Society is an auxiliary to the Sierra Leone Government in providing impartial and independent humanitarian services to the most vulnerable people in the country especially in health and social services.
The Society is strategically providing targeted services in health, peace-building and recovery in war-torn communities, disaster management and youth development.
