Membership type/code status explained Restrict by region
Full: operational agencies, primarily not-for-profit organisations, actively involved in international relief and development work.
Associate: other organisations supporting our aims that wish to share in our output, but are not operational agencies.
Partner: NGOs based in low or middle-income countries, nominated by a Full Member. See our factsheet for further details.
Network: networks of NGOs or CBOs based in low or middle-income countries.
Committed: members committed to the People In Aid Code.
Verified: members who have completed an external social audit and are verified to be compliant with The Code.
The second People In Aid Quality Mark (’Verified Compliant with the People In Aid Code’) is awarded to organisations that successfully implement the People In Aid Code by providing the assurance that reliable management and information systems are in place through an independent external social audit.
This is our highest level of certification and organisations seen displaying the logo can be seen as leaders in HR and people management.
The first People In Aid Quality Mark (Committed to the People In Aid Code). Those seen displaying the logo have made a public commitment to the People In Aid Code of Good Practice and their desire to continuously improve their HR and people management skills.
