Dr Alex Alexandrou has worked with Cranfield University’s Mine Action team to produce, deliver and evaluate management education courses for the mine action community in Afghanistan. This paper attempts to illustrate the unique challenges of teaching western-based management disciplines in a strict Islamic context.
